My very first internship and one of my first full-time jobs was at the Schaumburg Park District, a suburban parks and recreation agency that delivers year-round, versatile leisure opportunities through enriching programs, quality facilities and environmental stewardship. As the communications coordinator, I had a variety of responsibilities that covered all areas of marketing communications. Website Redesign and Content Management At Schaumburg Park District, I acted as project manager for the relaunch of the award-winning ParkFun.com and did all daily updates to the website. I also oversaw the development and design of the District’s mobile application and site.   Staff Newsletter I developed, wrote and designed the District's monthly staff print newsletter and then adapted it for the intranet.
