I am a communications professional with many years of marketing and graphic design experience.

I found my passion for marketing and design after taking beginner classes in high school, which helped prepare me for my university studies. I received my bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations with minors in marketing and visual communications from Loyola University Chicago. I obtained my master of science in integrated marketing communications in a five-year B.A./M.S.I.M.C. program offered by the university.

Being based in Chicago, I have had the opportunity to be employed in marketing communications in leading businesses, government agencies and nonprofits. The summer before my senior year of college, I interned at Schaumburg Park District and GameTime 24x7. These learning experiences led to internships at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, MK Communications, Entertainment Cruises and Amble Resorts.

My professional career began when I was hired as the full-time marketing assistant at Amble Resorts. A few months later, I returned to my first internship, Schaumburg Park District, as the communications coordinator.

I currently reside in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago and am happily employed full-time as the digital communications manager for GE Transportation. I was previously a social media analyst at GE Capital. I also assist with social media for Queer Tech Club and Out & Equal Chicagoland.

Comic books, television, marketing, blogging, social media, lower case letters, Chicago, Instagram, running and design are just a few of my passions.
